“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”
Overcoming takes time, possessing inner strength may have its hurdles, and transitioning into the very best version of oneself while living instead of just existing is sometimes a lifelong journey, but these things are all in your reach and can be done! In recognizing myself as an advocate for change, my hope is to lead with light while fostering an environment that is conducive to spiritual healing and growth. Through the practices of developing coping skills, providing emotional support, navigating life’s challenges, exploring personal fulfillment and more, my hope is to work side by side with clients to lighten any burdens of anxiety, depression, trauma, fear, doubt, self-defeating thoughts, fear, rejection, and guilt that may hold you down.
In my passion for community and stepping into the role of the helper, I have 7+ years of experience in the realm of mental health and the outpatient scope has allowed me to work with diverse populations such as individuals, families, groups, the elderly, sexual assault survivors, LGBTQAI+ and more. In working with these populations, I aim to create a vehicle for change for those in need, especially for women of color, at risk youth and adolescents. Treatment modalities are dependent on the individualized need of the client. I combine clinical behavior and cognitive based modalities with real-world experience while meeting the client where he or she is on their individual path and that is where the journey begins.
Remember, there is power in choice and change. . . so I offer you an open invitation to be the change that you would like to see. I look forward to meeting you.
